Why does it sometimes take such a long time for Opus to move large files from one location to another on the same disk? A dialog box pops up with a progress bar and sometimes it can take up to 30 seconds before moving a couple of files has finished.
Anti-virus scanner, perhaps. What type of files are you moving? Do you see similar if you move them with something else?
Hm, looks like you're right. The last ones I moved were all exe files, and if I turn off the AV (Avast) they all move instantly. If I turn AV on again it's getting slow again.
I just don't recall ever having seen this behaviour with Explorer, but then, I shifted to Avast from another AV program after I replaced Explorer with Opus, so the old AV program probably didn't scan so intensely. I've just tried the same thing with Explorer, and it's actually just as slow as Opus.
