MS Virtual PC (wmwindow) opens DOPUS rather than explorer ... but DOPUS doesn't have the specialized CREATE VIRTUAL command.
Is there a way to force it open explorer without switching my DOPUS preferences for window handling ?
Did you try to add your Virtual PC folder to the exceptions list in the Opus start preferences?
Or the VMs folder?
I can't use that unless I change the option above it.... right now it is set to the recommended option. I would prefer not to change thsat for just 1 folder. I can open the folder manually from Explorer as a workaround .
It is also worth noting that the program menu entry is a program called Vmwindow.exe which opens the folder from the start menu.
Have a look in the menus in Opus when in that folder; it may have the command.
But apart from that, if you don't want Opus to handle a folder then the Preferences page you've already found is the place to tell it not to. Not sure why you would not want to use that to do this job as that is what it is for.
