'Name' column auto-size

Hi everyone,

I've read a lot of posts and played around with the SET commands, but...

How do I auto-size just the (first) name column?

I know I can auto-size all columns but I don't want that.
I can remove columns and add them again with a '*' for the size attribute, but that doesn't work for the name column.
I've even tried removing all columns but the name column, then auto-sizing it, then adding the other columns again, but that's not very practical since I want to use this for different folder fomats.

Any ideas?

I don't think there is a way to autosize just one column, except by double-clicking that column's separator in the header.

Yes, but all other columns I could remove and then add again at the same position with the autosize flag set...
