Need F5 to refresh

For one reason or the other recently I constantly need to push on F5 to refresh the screen and see what has been deleted, or so.

Vainly tried to find a solution for this...

This is not specifically DO related, it occurs everywhere within Windows.
Am asking here, as there may be a bigger chance on a quickfix.

Follow these steps:
Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type NoSimpleNetIDList, and then press ENTER.
On the Edit menu, click Modify.
Type 1, and then click OK.

sofar, it looks like the problem has been solved.

Again later ...
Nop, it was no a permanent solution. I had my machine running overnight. Yesterday it worked, this morning not anymore.
It's really weird.

I've never heard of a system-wide folder refresh issue so don't have any ideas, sorry.
