I am accessing this web site with a boot copy of Linux Ubuntu running from a boot cd. I have two other systems running XP PRO and for what ever reason, I cannot access this web page from any browser I use (Opera,Firefox,IE7). I can get to www.dopus.com just fine, but when I access resouce.dopus.com, the site times out. I have tried everything I can think of that may be inhibiting access (DNS server change, virus scanner, checked settings in Router, Firewall, Cookies, ect) but for what ever reason, it just does not work. Obviously, there is some setting I have overlooked, as this cd boot linux system is working just fine on one of the systems that will not allow access. What can I possibly have overlooked. I have left messages with the Tech Support for Dopus, and they obviously cannot fix what ain't broke as far as they are concerned and Dr Perry was very kind in his reply.
This is very frustrating as I am no newbe to networking and PC's but this has got me stumped... I have got to have done something that globally has impacted my systems but I just do not know what else to check.
Funny thing is, I can ping the site and it responds fine, so it is not at the hardware level and it has to be at the software level. Anyone have any suggestions as to a debug order to track this down??
Please respond via email as I probably will not have this system up being that it is a boot up system.
