is there any way I can actually have the network Drives labels in the Drives Toolbar rather than a complete mount address?

I don't think there is currently, with the automatically generated drive buttons.
However, you could change those to exclude network drives, and then add individual buttons for each network drive which could then use any label format. Of course, that would only be suitable if they don't changer often, since the toolbar would need editing to make changes.
Can we take this as a feature request or suggestion?
