Newbie: Some directories are grayed out in some views

It is a neat program which I may eventually figure out--maybe

Note the attached screen shot in explorer format. Note further that the left hand tree column shows five directories under "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator"

However that left hand tree doesn't show all the directories in the right hand column, ie "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data" Although accessible, that directory is grayed out in the righ hand column.

I'm sure there is a setting that I cannot find to ungray the "Application Data" directory and have it show in the left hand tree.

Under this preference setting there are a number of different items you can show/hide in the folder tree. Specifically, you probably want to tick the Hidden folders option.
