Newly saved or downloaded files do not show in Directory Opus interface

I have used DOpus for a number of years, and have not experienced this issue in the past.
Running Windows 11 Pro and latest DOpus version. When I save an item to the Desktop folder or download a file (I save downloads to Desktop), it does not appear in DOpus unless I close and re-open the program.
