NFO dbl-click viewing

Apologies if it's buried in the FAQ somewhere, but couldn't find this in a site search...

I would like to double click on an NFO file and have DOpus' plugin view it, as opposed to, say, Notepad or Damn NFO viewer. Clicking on the view tool works fine, but I'd like the double click action to work. The problem seems to be that because nfo files are "special", i.e. a MS system config file, if I empty out the "open with" app in filetypes, and even delete the "open" action which calls the MS system app, it still insists on opening there instead of letting DOpus' plugin take over.

I don't want DOpus to be my default image viewer, but I even tried turning that on and got the same behaviour.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Cheers,

DT

This seems to work:

Hold shift and right-click an NFO file.

Select Open With, then Browse. (Or whatever the equivalent is on your version of Windows.)

Select C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\d8viewer.exe as the application, and check the option to use it in the future for this filetype.

Ha - that's it! Thanks!
