Since 9.1 the file transfer window doesn't appear when copying files from a RAR-archiv with drag'n'drop.
Also the password is required for protected RAR's when opening and again when extracting.

Ok, I filled out a bug report. I used an older backup with 9.0.0.9 - no problem. After installing 9.1.0.0 the transfer window is always hidden.
Any news on this, I'm having the same problem. Is this a bug that will be fixed in future updates? I miss seeing the progress window and the ability to cancel extractions.
It looked like Sasa filed a bug report... other than it's wait and see or contact GPSoft yourself to let them know you're seeing the same issue.
Is the problem only when using drag & drop?
I just extracted a RAR file using Opus and saw a progress dialog. Unfortunately I then deleted it, and can't find any other large RAR files on my system, before I thought to try different things.
If you don't get progress windows for any RAR operations then maybe your RAR.dll VFS plugin is the wrong version for some reason. You could try deleting RAR.dll from the VFSPlugins directory and then reinstalling Opus over the top of itself to ensure the correct DLL is present.
There's no progress window when using internal RAR via button and drag and drop.
It's definetely since v9.1, found out on 5 different pc ("fresh installs", old installs, 64 and 32 Bit... always the same).
I don't use 9.1 because I extract rar-files daily with built-in RAR. You don't know when it's finished, get no error messages (the only thing is that a wrong extraction will be deleted quietly), etc...
In that case can you try deleting your existing rar.dll and reinstalling 9.1 over the top? It sounds like the wrong rar.dll is being used, although I might be wrong.
Yep, I also tried an older rar.dll (but as I wrote that this bug also appears on new installs).
I can confirm that. I removed rar.dll and unrar.dll, then reinstalled 9.1. Still no progress window.
Strange. Wonder why it works for me. I guess we'll have to wait to see what GPSoft say.
I've been able to reproduce this, but only with drag and drop - with the copy button it seems to be fine. So in the interim you can use this as a workaround.
Thanks Jon, that works and should hold me over until the fix. Never even thought to try that, have always used drag and drop.
Can't use workaround, because always d'n'd to location at the lister's top
Please fix asap. Thanks.
