Not Really Empty

One lister shows directory empty and the other lister shows the files in that directory. I selected the left directory several times and nothing changed.

The lister directory that appears to be empty, but isn't, must have a filter set to hide the files you cannot see in it. You can create a button that uses the following command to reset a filter.

Set CLEARFILTERS

What happens if you press F5 to refresh? If you enter the folder (double click) and then go back up to parent that should also refresh the information.

Regards, AB

I don't use filters.

Coming into the directory fresh gives correct sizes. I moved some files out of the directory and the lister on the left didn't refresh. I depressed F5 and the values disappeared and then came back corrected.

Folder sizes do not auto-refresh.

(Opus would have to monitor everything below the folder to do that.)

Back in the old days, I thought if I hovered over the entry it would refresh. Thanks everyone

It did. Or at least it acted like it did!

Bug was reported and fixed in Beta 10.0.0.1

I don't remember a bug or bug-fix related to this. You might be thinking of this option which was removed then put back:

  • Reinstated the 'File display border Up button does "Up Back"' option.

That'll affect whether folder sizes are cached if you go into a child and then up to the parent again.
