Open folders in new windows

I'm road testing the pro version and like it very much with the one reservation I mention here.

I've seen "sort-of" solutions to my issue but none that lets me actually resolve it.

I want to be able to click through a directory listing with each new click opening in a new opus window. I found a command line option that confused me a bit. I couldn't find anywhere to actually access the command line. Also I'm not very comfortable jumping into a new program with that amount of complexity.

I think I'm not explaining this very well; please ask and I'll try to clarify.

This will be a deal breaker if I can't solve it. Please tell me there's a simple way of changing folder behavior.

Thanks for helping.

Seems like an awful thing to do but this works:
Settings / File Types / All Folders / Events / Left Double-click / Change command to Go NEW

If you'd rather open in a new tab instead of a new window use:
Settings / File Types / All Folders / Events / Left Double-click / Change command to Go NEWTAB

Blueroly's solution above is excellent if you always want to do this. One immediate simple solution is to hold down the SHIFT key and double-click the folder to open it in a new Lister.
