Open Windows Terminal (Preview) here

Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to add an entry in lister context for the new Windows Terminal like CLI DOSPROMPT=wsl ?

Thank you.

It appears to be ridiculously complicated, and may depend on which type of shell/prompt you want to run, but the solutions which work for Explorer should also work in Opus:

I'm not sure the Windows Terminal is really fit for purpose yet, to be honest.

Thanks. Yes I saw this with registry editor... I will try.
I hope this terminal will replace all Windows command prompts in near future :slight_smile:

That registry stuff seems to be over-complicating things rather.

C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\wt.exe -d {sourcepath}

...-d is the basic approach to opening at a specific path.

I carried on the main conversation here: Context Menu entries to open WSL shell

Looks like wt.exe's command line support was only two weeks old when this thread was started, which is probably why it was hard to find information on it vs guides that used other methods.

Good to see they have improved it (or already had, in fact).
