I bought DO12 light and enjoyed it enough to evaluate the pro version. I'm mostly interested in the ability to work with remote FTP sites.
It mostly works fine, but I have one niggle. I have an FTP site stored as a favorite. When I open it, it opens in a new DO instance. I'd rather it opened in the same instance. I dug through the options but couldn't find any way to do this.
Any ideas?
A quick test here resulted in the FTP favorite opening in the current window.
Do other favorites pointing to local folders do the same, or just the FTP one?
Storing FTP sites in favorites may not be the best idea though, since favorites don't let you manage all the details of the site and connection. The FTP menu has a separate list of sites from the FTP Address Book, which functions like favorites for FTP sites. (You can copy or move the list of sites to other toolbar/menu locations, e.g. if you want them under the main favorites list.)

No, just the FTP sites.
This worked very well and point taken on being able to manage them from the FTP menu. Thanks.
