trying the latest opus 8, and now i get the error of red\empty files when i open rar files.
happens mostly on rar containing pictures or video.
followed the faqs etc, and searched.
one answer was "remove the S flag from the file"
What is that?

S attribute means a "system" file, although anyone can set it on any file. System files are coloured red in Opus by default.
Whether a file has the S attribute or not shouldn't make any difference to its size unless there's a weird bug in the unrar plugin.
Does the RAR archive work fine in other programs? Did it used to work in Opus before the update?
it used to work fine, as i remember.
it seems to only affect some video (avi, mpg)
i split a video file into several rars, part01 etc. that worked.
then tried another, and got the red letters and instead of "type video clip"
it was "type fild folder"
right now it seems random why this happens
Does Opus extract the archives correctly? Maybe the unrar plugin has problems viewing files inside split archives? I've unpacked split archives successfully in the past, although not very recently, but I've never tried viewing files while browsing inside of them.
yes, the files it recognizes goes fine.
well, its a small bug i guess
