Opening specific file

I have a number of Excel files, some of type .xls and some of type .txt. I want to have a button that will open these files in Excel. The button works fine with the .xls types. But with the .txt files, the default system datatypes opens them with Wordpad, which is what I have it set to. To open the file from the DO button, I'm just using the full path (c:\excel\filename.xls). Is there a way to override the system default so that the .txt file is opened in Excel? Something like c:\excel {filename.txt} instead of the {f} one would normally use.

It appears to me you answered your own questions. On my system the following button command will open a specific text file in Excel:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\EXCEL.EXE "C:\MyPath\ReadMe.txt"

And this will use Excel to open whatever I have selected with DOpus:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\EXCEL.EXE {f}

Great, that did it. I was using the path to the file but without the quotes. Thanks for the help.
