I like the possibility to turn grids on and off but...
Someone can tell me where to change the alternate color in the list, because is very faint for my monitor and I barely see it, and how to extend that alternate color in the first part of the lister?

Settings -> Preferences -> File Display Modes -> Details (or Power if that's what you're using).
In Settings -> Preferences -> Display -> Options, make sure Blend file background colors with background is turned on. If it is already, try reducing it to 40% or so.

The blending resolve the second part of my question but for the first question, about changing the colors of the grid mode there is no color changing preferences n the part you suggesting me.
There is a dialog on the grids lines
But... does not change the color of the alternate lines.
Also messing about with those settings I found that not always are applied, sometimes I change the values and nothing happens anyway.
So far in my best achievements I've managed to get either grey grids dotted lines or the alternate default color but nothing inbetween.
You seem to be looking in the wrong place. That screenshot shows the grid lines for Power mode are turned off. If you're still seeing grid lines then you must be using Details mode, which is configured from the page next to the one you are looking at.
