I have DOpus 10 on a Win 7/x64 machine and the SendTo in Opus is default to:C:\Windows\System32. I just can't seems to find how to switch it to the regular SendTo folder in Documents & Settings. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
What do you mean exactly? Can you post a screenshot?
When I right click a file inside of Opus and try to use the SendTo in the context menu, the files appearing in the SendTo pop-up is actually the files located at C:\Windows\System32, a long endless list of files. The default SendTo folder in Win 7 doesn't have these files that Opus is showing me. In Explorer, the same SendTo directory has just 3 shortcuts.
That seems rather odd. If you click in the location field and enter /sendto what folder does it take you to?
Are you holding Shift when you open the Send To menu? (e.g. Because you've configured Opus to hide the menu unless shift is held down.)
If so, the extra items should also appear in Explorer if you hold Shift when opening the menu there as well. (It's just the Shift key having two meanings that get triggered at once for that menu.)
If not, ignore me, and just look at Jon's idea above.
OK, I pinpoint the problem. For reasons beyond my knowledge, my SendTo folder was missing from the initial Win 7 directory: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo, it was in the "Default" user folder. So, I created a folder in the initial directory and add a few shortcuts. From there, I reloaded Opus and now Opus reads the SendTo folder. Mystery solved.
Thanks for the quick help guys.
