Is deleting a folder necessary to cause the freeze, or is it triggered just by changing between folders?
Crash, exit or high CPU usage when viewing certain directories has troublehshooting suggestions which may help. It's likely being caused by a shell extension which is loaded into the Opus process and going wrong for some reason.
