Opus Locks Up - CPU Usage = 99%

I'm using Opus v9.1.0.2.2961.x86 on a DuoCore (X6800) system w/ 3GB RAM.

After a few minutes of working fine, Opus consumes 99% of the CPU and basically becomes very slow (right-clicking a file's property takes 20-30 sec). I have to kill the process to fix the problem until next time I load Opus. Repeat.

Any help will be appreciated.
