Opus no longer opening folders from Explorer

Okay I have a rather puzzling problem, opening folders from Explorer has gotten rather funky to say the least.

Originally I was monkeying around with editing my Opus ContextMenu...not that I think that has anything to do with it...but shortly after I tried opening a folder on my desktop and for some reason it opened with ACDSee.

I tried resetting Opus as a replacement for Explorer hoping this would rewrite what ever reg entry is required...no love...still ACDSee to I got pissy and uninstalled ACDSee...now folders are opening with the command prompt.

Just to be clear My Computer\Documents\Network... virtual folders would fine...Opus continues to open those...its just standard folders that seem to be at issue.

Now folders opened through Opus behave as expected...its just anything from an Explorer environment thats going nuts on me.

Any input no matter how silly is welcome.

Sounds like your Folder filetype has been messed up.

In Opus, go to Settings -> File Types, then double-click All Folders near the top of the list. On the Actions tab most of the items should be < not defined > but I'm guessing you have something unusual for the open action.

If it's not that, go to the Context Menu tab and see if any of the items in that list are the default. (If an item is the default it will appear in bold text.) The default context menu item may be used when you double-click folders. Turning Opus's Explorer Replacement mode off (Applying the change) and then turning it back on again (Applying the change again) should reset the default but if that doesn't work then I would make a note of what the current default does, then delete it and recreate it (so it is no longer the default).
