I don't think that's the problem. But there's very little I can do if the user refuses to cooperate despite my offering help free of charge and even providing a ready-to-use button to pinpoint the issue.

I 'm not getting errors now.
As I said before, I think the problem was caused by having 2 ExifTool Scripts enabled and displaying a column for IPTC Keywords for both Scripts - to see if there was a difference in what was displayed.
But I'm not sure!
I appreciate your effort to help. If there's something I can do to help you, I will. But I'm not sure I can test the errors I'm not longer getting.
While I'm not getting errors now, neither your Opus ExifTool Script nor the one by Polar Goose will find all files with IPTC Keywords - the only metadata field I've tested.
And the number of photos found varies by 1 to 3 files each time I test 'Find Files'.
I find more photos with IPTC Keywords by sorting by that field and waiting very patiently for the column to populate.
Some photos with IPTC Keywords are never found with 'Find Files', so I have tried to figure out what is different about those files, but I have not yet succeeded.
I can keep trying to figure out the difference if it would help you.

I appreciate that you're using the script and finding it useful. I don't know how many people actually use it, but it's good that it's helpful to you at least.
As far as I know, there's no way for a script to "know" if the calculated value is for display or for another use, such as searches, so in both scenarios it will return the same value.
The problem is most likely in the search clause itself.
Please provide:
- The search clause you're using (aka the filter clause).
- How can I reproduce the issue. Step by step. Which specific field and how is the column configured? You can import it, That way I can run tests more easily.
- (Optional) A sample file(s) where you can reproduce the issue. What we're interested in are the metadata, so (for privacy, if you like) you can take any image that you can share and copy the relevant metadata from another image using Exiftool.
Interesting, I'm not saying it's not possible, but that would imply that perhaps it's not possible to use the Exiftool plugin in parallel. I'm going to check it out if that's plausible.
