# Oracle Outside In, Viewer, 64 bit

Many thanks for fixing the MultiViewer viewer plugin so that it works with the Oracle product. I noticed that Oracle also produce an ActiveX version at [https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/content/oit-dl-otn-097435.html](https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/content/oit-dl-otn-097435.html) (under "Viewer Technology"). I installed this, copied the outside854.ocx file to the /home/viewer folder. I expected to see a new plugin in Dopus but did not. Am I doing something wrong?

That won't do anything, unless you add a lot of registry settings associating that ActiveX control to each file type.
There's no reason to use the ActiveX version of it over the normal version.

Understood, thanks Leo. The reason was a problem with the MutliView plugin, which I am just about to post as a seperate question. Cheers.
