Overwrite folder issue

Can I set dopus ask me if i want overwrite a folder in destination directory?

You mean merge rather than overwrite? Opus never overwrites folders, only files.

There's no way to make it warn you if a folder is about to be merged but it will tell you before any file within the folders is overwritten.

If you merge two folders by mistake then you can use Undo to undo it.

Yes,I want to have an option let me select merge or rename.

I can't undo it when i did merge two folders , it has a error msg.

Any way, that's not important, Thank you for reply!

What's the error message?

Are you using the latest version? An issue with undoing a folder merge was fixed fairly recently (well, a few weeks/months ago now).

I'm using the last version, I can undo it for the file, but with minor error.

Just test:

Open defferent DIR in left and right, and create folder 'AAA' in both sides.
(Nothing file in 'AAA')

Then creat a folder 'BBB' in 'AAA' of the right side, and create a file in 'BBB'.

Now, move the folder 'AAA' from right side to the left, and undo it: Undo no problem, but a empty folder 'BBB' still in folder 'AAA' of left side.

Okay. So there's no error message but I agree that the empty folder shouldn't be left in the dest. I've reported that to GPSoftware.
