Hi all,
I have looked around a bit, but did not find a definite answer to my use case.
Let me describe the workflow I'd like to do:
I am filming with my cameras which are recording to SSD and the other to CFAST2.0 cards.
After wrap (end of filming) I want to offload the footage from the media.
Hardware looks like this:
SSD/CFAST2.0 Reader <-USB3-> Win7/64bit-Laptop <-2x USB3-> 2x external Backupdrive
For data security and time constraints reasons I'd like to have the copy done in parallel, reading from the source and writing to 2 or (in some cases) 3 destinations. Serial copy would take too much time.
To make sure there is no error during the process a MD5 hash from the source needs to be calculated and compared to the written files at the destinations.
If an error occurs the copy process should automatically retry to copy.
Finally I should get a summary of occurred errors or if all went well an OK dialog.
There exists special software to do this like Shotput Pro:

But I think that would be a great professional feature for Dopus and I see no reason why Dopus as a dedicated swiss army file handler couldn't do that (maybe in a future update?). So why buying another tool instead of using the tool I have and love
