Pass all custom hotkeys to file while in FAYT (Find As You Type) pane

Feature Request - very often I want to perform a custom hotkey action on a file I have found via FAYT.

Typing in part of its first part of its name opens the FAYT (Find As You Type). I then want to perform a custom hotkey action on that file such as "Ctrl+M" - open in Application X. This hotkey I have setup via Customize Keys. The problem is that the Ctrl+M does not get passed to the file while the FAYT pane is active. So I have to push Esc first.

This would be an expansion upon "Enable all cursor keys" already found as described here: https://www.gpsoft.com.au/help/opus12/index.html#!Documents/Prefs/faytandfilterbaroptions.htm
Instead of just passing Left, Right, Home, End - also pass any Ctrl or Alt or F-key keys. Pass any keyboard combinations received except letter keys.
