Paste list of file names

Hi
how do i do this ?

i copied a list of file names to the clipboard (name only, no path), put them into a text editor and replaced all the spaces with _ and changed the case to all caps

now i have the list of file names that i want but i don't see how to paste them back, sort of a rename all files in folder from clipboard

yes!
it was a little above my head but i did get it to work, thanks

if anyone tries this work on a copy of the folder if possible, it is pretty easy to screw things up badly

another word of caution here, the first time i did this my source name text file had the extensions included, so the result was a double extension
