Is there a way to turn this off? I do not have one click set in general for all files (making them underlined).
Does it only happen when the viewer pane is open?
Yes.
Either:
- Install a PDF viewer which includes a Preview Handler (works in Opus, Windows Explorer and Outlook) or ActiveX control (works in Opus and Internet Explorer).
Or:
- Stop Opus from attemping to view PDF files via IE/ActiveX by going to Preferences / Viewer / Viewer Plugins, configuring the ActiveX+Preview+Office+Web plugin, and removing the PDF extension from the Internet Explorer and (if also present) Generic ActiveX lines.

Option 2 did the trick. Thanks so much, Leo!!
