Picture/jpg viewing in DOPUS

Hi,

I am not a new user to Directory Opus... and I've always used the picture viewer to look at jpg's and stuff...

but now... for some reason...I can't use the program to advance to the next photo in the directory?

The option seems to be greyed out and I can't hit space.

Is there a setting that maybe got messed up?

THANKS!

Yes, navigation seems to be broken with the stand-alone viewer.

This feature is not broken, I use it all the time. Most likely, you have disabled the option highlighted below.

Some preferences settings you might want to check:

Make sure

The VIEWER/STANDALONE VIEWER section has GENERATE NEXT/PREVIOUS LIST AUTOMATICALLY ON DOUBLE-CLICK option checked.

And

FILE OPERATIONS/DOUBLE CLICK ON FILES section has the "USE INTERNAL PICTURE VIEWER FOR ALL RECOGNIZED PICTURES" option checked.

Thank you for your time.

Why would I have disabled it, since I used it all the time as well in previous versions? The option [u]is[/i] enabled, and the navigation doesn't work unless I select multiple files and push the default Show Pictures in the toolbar. Double-clicking on a single file is not enough. In my book, it is broken -- or it doesn't work the way it used to.

(For info: my DO9 was installed over DO8.)

It works fine here. Are you sure it is the Opus viewer that's appearing when you double-click and not the Windows viewer? They look very similar.

Also, we're only talking about double-clicking files in Opus windows, right? The next/prev stuff doesn't currently work if you double-click a file outside of Opus (e.g. on the desktop).
