Playing .wav files with DO

Is there anyway to get the built in .wav player to play via the preview pane (like the mp3 player does) instead of having to open a new window, or should I be posting a feature request?

Whenever I process Audio I usually go via the wave route before encoding to ensure maximum quality after editing before coverting to mp3. This would certainly be a big help for previewing files.

Go to Preferences - Plugins - Viewers and configure the ActiveX Document plugin, then add .wav to its list of extensions.

That will make wav files play in the preview panel, via the Windows Media Player ActiveX control.

Thanks. I had tried that and it didn't work.

Following your reply I decided something was wrong with the Media Player ActiveX plugin. Uninstalling WMP and re-installing fixed the problem.
