Popup Suggestions: Let Tab insert the first item

Entries from the list of suggestions need to be picked via cursor keys and confirmed via tab key. Pressing the tab key without selecting an item inserts a true tab character (is that ever needed? Spaces would more be useful).

How about automatically picking the first item? Saves one keypress and is congruent with many other editors that offer popup suggestions.

We've added an option for that in the next beta.

hmm, was this implemented? where?

is it autoselect_suggestions in Misc / Advanced?

I've turned that ON and tab still won't insert text, only enter which i never use in auto-complete anything.

Tab inserts text for me.
