Preferences dialog when no lister is open

Windows 7
having DO attached to task bar
NO lister is open
right click on task bar DO icon, left click on "Preferences":
The pref-windows appears very briefly and disappears immediately again.
Nothing else happens - I think this must be a bug because it surely cannot be a feature but u never know what is sold as feature nowadays.

Are you running anything that modifies the way windows behave?

Does Win + Left a few times bring it back into view?

  1. I don't think so, not on process level.
  2. It does not help. When I open the tak manager before trying to open the prefs in that manner, then the process "dopus.exe" and sometimes also the helper process "dopusrt.exe" show up in the task manager for a short moment and then disappear again, just like the prefs-window itself.

I think I have reproduced it now.

As a workaround for the moment, either open a lister before opening Preferences, or turn off Preferences / Launching Opus / Startup / Shutdown Directory Opus when the last Lister closes.

For some reason, if that setting is turned on, the Preferences window being open is no longer keeping the program running on its own.

We've found the cause of that and have a fix coming in the next update.

That is it. Thx.
