When i have a "Rating" column visible in a folder with pictures, it shows me the stars rating and i can sort the files by rating.
My problem is that sometimes i click by mistake into that column and change the rating of a file - sometimes even without realizing it! That's a problem. I tried hiding that column, but then i cannot sort by rating anymore.
Is there a solution to this?
Turn off Preferences / File Display Columns / Options / Edit ratings by clicking within the Rating column.

I just can't find that option. I don't have "File Display Columns" under preferences. Do i need v13 for this?
Ah yes that's new in 13, sorry I overlooked you were still on 12.
Ah, well, one more reason to upgrade then.
