Prevent preview of large files

Hi!

I usually have the preview window open when running Dopus, the problem I have is that sometimes I have very large xml-files in my folders and they more or less hangs Dopus when they're read/rendered. Is it possible to have a max-size limit for the preview window?

Not for XML files (at least currently). However, if you don't use the XML preview much (or if a plain-text preview would be just as good to you), you can remove XML from the ActiveX+Preview+Office+Web viewer plugin, which will solve the problem for that file type.

XML would then be handled by the Text viewer plugin, which is a lot faster than Internet Explorer (which the other plugin uses) at displaying XML, and also has a size limit if you want that.

You can configure the extensions that the first plugin handles, and the size limit of the second plugin, both via Preferences / Viewer / Plugins.

Thanks for the quick answer, I'll use your suggestion for now and hope for a size-setting in the future :).. Would it be possible to add a button to toggle the plugin on or off?

This command will toggle the plugin (affecting the next time a file is viewed):
