Problem with Play for wav etc

I'm a returning user of DO. Based on my previous experience with it, I wanted to modify the Delete command so that when I press the Delete key after a file deletion a sound would be played. So, the command is:

delete
Play QUIET /S "[path to .wav file]"

At first this worked for a few deletions which I made for testing purposes, but later it stopped for no reason. Moreover I can no longer play any .wav files directly using the internal player. The internal player flashes on the screen and goes away with nothing being played.

The /S is part of the command argument template but should not be part of the command line.

Thank you for your answer.
It works for me after two things happened. One, I rebooted the PC and two I put the "QUIET" argument at the end of the line. I'll test some more after I reboot the PC or anyway if the problem recurs.

I'm reopening this query, because I found that the sound stops playing after a while. I also noticed that it starts to work again if I log out and then log in to Windows.
