Problem with preview of Windows UTF-8 txt files containing German-Umlaut äöüÄÖÜß

I have the issue that Windows text files that were created via Windows Notepad containing German-Umlaut are not correctly displayed in the Opus Preview windows (screenshot right side). When I open it in Notepad it displays correctly (screenshot left).

I checked the encoding using Notepad++ and it is UTF-8

When I change the encoding to UTF-8-BOM than Opus diplays the German-Umlaut correctly. But not in UTF-8.
It looks to me as a bug in Opus.

I have attached the two versions of the test file for your team to analyze.

Looking forward to getting feedback from you soon.

Currently evaluation version 12.30 x64 Build 8360 on Windows 10 64 bit.
Test mit Umlauten ÄÖÜ (UTF-8-BOM).txt (85 Bytes)
Test mit Umlauten ÄÖÜ (UTF-8).txt (82 Bytes)

Preferences / Viewer / Plugins:

There is an option to assume UTF-8 without a BOM in the Text viewer plugin:

great ... thank you, works perfectly
