Hello!
Two problems (see attached archive):
- EMF file does not display in Viewer (while it displays OK in ATViewer of ACDSee).
- WMF file zooms like a bitmap, and should zoom like a vector (no jagged edges)

The EMF file views okay for me. Does it still fail for you in the latest Opus? (I'm replying quite a while after your original post so maybe it works for both of us now.)
I think the bitmap scaling is because Opus has a simple built-in WMF/EMF viewer which just returns a bitmap of a nominal size which the viewer then resizes if requested. A dedicated WMF/EMF viewer would be fairly easy to write I guess. Does anyone use these formats much though? I hardly ever encounter them, but maybe they do get used a lot in some circles? (Word clipart?)

With 9.0.0.6, EMF thumbnail displays properly, but Viewer fails with message "The file is invalid or image format has not been recognized.
And yes, Office cliparts avaliable from MS site are WMF files. I have also lots of Corel clipart which I convert to EMF/WMF, to use them in non-Corel apps.

Which OS are you on? I've only tried in Vista so far where both files viewed okay in the viewer pane. I'll try and remember to try it on XP next time I had a chance.
I'm on XP

Interesting. On XP I can't view the EMF file in the viewer pane either. I wonder why it works on Vista but not XP?
Like you say, thumbnails work on both.
