Morning,

the error in the image displays when this script is being used to rename files.

  • the error is inconsistent, and sometimes occurs after say, 20 files have been renamed, or 2.
  • this happens only since upgrading to Opus 10

We were very happy with Opus 9, and would be okay to revert back if there's not a quick fix to this error.

If this is the best course, could I have a link to previosu version please...
To install the this eralier version i presume I'd uninstall Opus10, then simply reinstall the previous version.

If you simplify the button to just this, do you still get a crash?

Rename PATTERN * TO "{dlgstring|Enter Property ID}_*"

Is a crash dump created?

Please give the latest beta version a try (link is in my signature, below), as I think the bug you're seeing was fixed a couple of weeks ago in 10.0.5.2 (fix is in the newer beta, 10.0.5.3 as well). I forgot about that until now.

Thanks...I've left the code unchanged, and will try the beta version 10.0.5.3
