Puzzled by folder format change

Ok, can normally work this out on my own - wonder if it's possibly a buggete.

I have a wildcard path format set for path: music**

When I navigate into folders that match the pattern - all is well, always has been.

However, I occasionally have an interest in going into flatview in these folders... for which I also have the explicit 'FlatView' folder format defined, and have Include columns from other matching formats enabled.

All of the columns from my wildcard path format that are duped in the FlatView format get overruled by FlatView - and that is what I would expect since FlatView is the last format to get triggered.

But all of my music specific wildcard path format columns have their widths all screwed up? Here's what showing the current 'Folder Options' looks like:

I thought maybe it had something to do with THIS in my FlatView format - even though it's greyed out:

But:

a.) I tried enabling the View checkbox just to explicitly DISABLE the Auto-size columns option, then re-disable the View checkbox again == no change.
b.) none of the affected columns are in fact auto-sizing... bitrate for instance is way too narrow and clipping off the full text of the column value - as are others.

The folder format lock icon in the status bar simply says the current format is indeed derived from 'FlatView' and nothing else (which I might have thought it might include my wildcard path format as well since that is clearly still in play from having Include columns from other matching formats enabled in the FlatView format. I don't have any Content Type stuff enabled either...

Any ideas where the crazy changes to my music column widths could be coming from?

Anyone have any idea on how to trace where the column width changes to the format is coming from here?

No ideas here. You may need to work through the formats in Preference to see if one is (possibly incorrectly/unexpectedly?) influencing things.

Thanks. Shouldn't it reveal itself in the format icon in the status bar though?

I'll try reverting to stock config and just set up the one wildcard format and flatview. Maybe a bug of some sort if it still happens?

Maybe. Couldn't say until you work it out, since we can't tell what's going on from here.

I am curious, what is a buggete?

Probably a small bug.
