Quality of pasting image into folder

Are these settings correct for achieving the highest quality for pasting a copied image?
I want it to be exact to match what I copied.
Thanks.

They are, but PNG is always lossless, so changing the last setting will only affect the file size (slightly) and amount of time it takes to save the image (greatly). The decoded image will always be an exact copy of the image it was made from.[1] Leaving it on the default is generally recommended.

For PNG, it should also be a value from 1-6, or 0 to say the default should be used (which can change between versions).

From the manual:

Lets you specify the quality (from 1 to 100) when pasting images as JPEGs, or the compression level (from 1 to 6) when pasting PNG images.

  1. (Outside of things like HDR screenshots, which I don't think the Windows clipboard supports yet.) ↩︎

I still have some version of the Trevor Morris PNG toolbar.
The file is dated 2007.

I'm not sure how relevant this is today, but over the years, I have often used PngCrush to reduce file size for emails. A quick look at it shows that I have hard defined paths for it in the buttons.
