Question about moving folders

Hi All,

When I move folders in DOpus and the folder that I am moving already exists in the target directory, files from the source directory are added to the target directory - hope this makes sense, if not please let me know. What I would like to do, is move the folder but increment the name of the folder if it already exists, so for example if folder 001 already exists, rename it to folder 001 (1) or something similar like what I can do with files if they already exist.

A few weeks ago, I had a similar, possibly related question.
[url]Is there an automatic auto-rename function for moving files?]

Many thanks in advance for any help.

I hope everyone has a nice holiday.

Kindest Regards,

Steve.

Have a look at this old thread:

[Copying/moving same-named folders one on top of the other)

Jon says it's on the list for a future version and I mention Select-SourceToDest which can be helpful for the time being. (Also, remember that you can Undo if you accidentally merge two folders.)
