I asked this questions a few years back and just came back to search. I've found the 'custom buttons linked to teracopy' solution, and that works a treat. Wish I'd come across it sooner!
Anyway, in the posts (2007) it mentioned that queuing was planned for DirOpus but it was complex due to multithreading. Just thought I'd see if we're any closer to that now? It'd be great to have it as part of the inbuilt functionality.
I believe GPSoftware have said copy-queueing will be added in the next major release, i.e. Opus 10, which is still in development and doesn't have a release date yet.
I have been using teracopy for a while but recently I have had some problems with it.
For example I had a scenario where I wanted to copy 2 folders to a drive and after that, move them to another folder on the same source drive.
I did the copy command and then move but Teracopy immediately moved one of the folders before the copy command finishes.
Anyway, do you know any better alternate to teracopy that integrates well with DOpus?
Ok, I just tested several programs. The best I found is Copy Handler. copyhandler.com/en
It does the same job correctly. I will remove Teracopy and use this instead. I suggest you don't use teracopy and use this. I hope that DOpus incorporates this soon.
Anyone uses Copy Handler? As it works now is with explorer integration and right click drag. Anyone knows how to make buttons for DOpus integration without the need for right click drag?
