"Recent" List for the copy/move actions

I have a question regarding the "recent" drop down window in the copy or move 'select destination folder' dialog window.

When I am moving several files from one directory to several other paths and directories, I've notice that the directory I move/copied to (destination) does not show up in the 'recent' list, only the directory that I moved/copied from (source).

So each time I open the dialog, I have to browse again each time for destination directory that I may have just sent a file to. I'd like it to show the list of destinations that I have sent to for the last few operations.

So in summary is there away I can get it show me the recent destinations instead of the recent sources (at least that appears to be what it's doing).

Thanks!

It's probably the list of folders that you have recently visited (i.e. in one of the main file displays).

Adding folders that you don't navigate to, but copy things to via another method, to the recent list might make sense, I guess... If you want to request that use the support form linked in my signature to write to GPSoftware.

Any reason you don't copy files using a second file display instead? (Either in the same window as a dual-display lister, or in a separate window.) You can have one display be the Source and the other the Destination, then click the Copy button in the toolbar to copy from one to the other.

I've used Power Desk for several years which has that feature, open the copy or move dialog and it will list the 'recent' directories you sent files to.

Just makes it a lot easier to just select and copy(or move) instead of having to open extra tabs/windows or such. If you use a second file display you still have to browse to the directory you want and since I use multiple drives/network it a bit of a hassle at times.

When you've already selected the file you want to copy and click copy, you'd want to see the list of where you've copied to, not the lists you're copying from.

But thanks for the info anyway.
