Windows Explorer in its Favorites by default has a link to Recent Places an area I very frequently use. I use Dopus exclusively, and have searched high and low for its equivalent. All I want is for it to show up in the folder tree just like Windows Explorer.
If you type /recent into the location field (or directly into the file display), does that take you to the folder you have in mind, or is it something different?
That appears to be exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't looking for the folder that IS the recent links file as much as I was just the list itself. But in retrospect I guess I was. In any event this is what I'd like to see regularly as part of the folder view pane. Perhaps I need to have the favorites show up there.
After composing the above I discovered I could add the /recent link to my favorites. Now, how do I get favorites to show up at the top in the folder view pane like Windows Explorer has it?
BTW, thank you very much for the (very rapid) response.
Leo, I just added a simple button to the toolbar that goes straight to /recent. That turned out to be the best of both worlds -- even better than I was looking for. Case closed. Thanks again for your inspiration.
