Refresh toolbar button

I have a button on my toolbar that goes to the recycle bin on left-click and empties it on right-click

I also changed the buttoncode for a delete button to replace the icon used for the recycle bin button with an icon that shows it is full.

That being said, the new icon for the button only shows when I close and re-open a lister. Is there a way I can refresh a toolbar so that the button will display the new image without closing and re-opening a lister?

No, not for a toolbar button, at the moment.
