I like the new background relative graph in the regular modified timestamp and size column! o)
When browsing through items though, I always expect the newer ones to be "graphed", so can the graph be inverted?
Why is there no background graph for the creation date column as well? o)
Could files and directories have a separate relation? For huge folders in the filedisplay, the relative graph is useless for files, since there is no 640GB file in there. o)
Thanks Leo. I have read your other post about bumping threads, but thought, this would be important. Since we're still in the Beta, it appears to be the right time now. Later it would be too late to vote for features. Maybe it would be good, if GP would give an early feedback, if a feature is generally considered for being added, at some time, or not.
This is a purely aesthetic suggestion, so I'm not sure why you thought it made sense to ignore the request to stop bumping threads for it.
Aesthetic suggestions are welcome, but when I say "please don't bump unless it's important" I mean unless it's something causing crashes or data loss and we don't seem to have seen the post for some reason.
At the moment we have so much to finish for 12.0 that it's actually a very bad time to suggest changes except ones involving new functionality. Everything suggested still goes into a list but we're focusing on finishing 12.0 rather than slipping into feature creep. Once 12.0 is out we'll keep adding and changjng things, as we always do.
Every suggestion is read and considered but we may not reply until we've had time to look into it properly.
Because i thought it was important. I had no idea, it is considered aesthetic, rather than functional. Because the idea is great, to have that integrated graph. Albeit not for the created property yet.
Ok, sorry. I can imagine that enormous list of things, fixes & details. Looking forward to see the final version.
