I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, but I couldn't find the entry. Using DOPUS Light, I am trying to delete files and folders that were erroneously saved to the cloud. When I try to delete the file on the cloud server, it also deletes the local copy which I want to keep.
If you want to keep a file that you are deleting from cloud storage, you usually need to copy the file out of the local synced folder first. If the cloud storage is synchronizing to a local folder, that folder will always (while the cloud sync program is running) stay up to date with changes you make on either end.
Does that make sense?
It would get very confusing if a local synced folder for a particular cloud storage platform was NOT synchronized with the cloud storage.
