How can I remove all tags (IDv1, IDv2,...) from selected files? In metaedit you only can change the values for all (e.g. same year for all), but not empty them.
"SetAttr META *" will clear all/most tags from the selected files.
Hi
From what I can see (tested on an MP3 file), any TXXX fields and replaygain fields (REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_GAIN, REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_PEAK, REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN, REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_PEAK) are not removed as for now.
It would be nice to have them removed as well.
Thanks Leo, unfortunateley some tags still remain, so I will sreach for a small commandline-base tagger for removing. If anybody knows one, please tell me .
@Thanks, but this is more than I need. I used it for a long time, but since DO offers better metaedit and scripting, it's nice not to have x apps for each operation .
I've found a very small cmd-tool which does the job well: http://www.synthetic-soul.co.uk/tag/
For the lazy people here's a sample button (change path to tag-exe to yours!) :
@nodeselect
@runmode hide
@async:/dopusdata\Scripts\Tag\Tag.exe --remove {filepath}
