Hi,

Sometimes I find myself wanting to issue multiple renames on a bunch of files, e.g. use a regex pattern to pull out fields to create a new name and then rename/replace some text.

Does anyone else think it would be nice to have the ability to create a rename queue so you can create a list of renames to perform and all the time you can see (if you had preview enabled of course) what the resulting names would be?

Just had a brainwave ... maybe as a quick solution how about an Apply button on the dialog.

So you could make one set of changes, hit apply, then continue making more on the same set of files.

An Apply button in the Rename dialog would be pretty cool.

I've posted an official feature request about this some time ago. Jon replyed that it's on "the list". Maybe 8.2.2.0?
