Request - Final Customizable Colors for Dark Themes

Hi,

I just watched the excellent video explaining the new features of Directory Opus 10.5. Good job on that!

Anyways, one of the features mentioned was the customizable colors for the toolbar which overrides Windows default toolbar colors. I just wanted to give a small reminder of what I think are the last few graphic elements without customizable colors.
The list is:
horizontal and vertical scrollbars
column name bars
search box
filter boxes
path/breadcrumbs box

If I had to prioritize, I would prefer the scrollbars and the column name bar should be next.

If any of these can already be changed through Directory Opus Preferences (not with Windows settings), please let me know.

I requested this a couple years ago in general and it's almost there (the toolbar color customizations have been added already!). I'm hoping maybe to get this for Opus 11. Please?

Thanks.

Those things come from the Windows theme / visual style, and in some cases we don't draw them ourselves at all; Windows itself draws them.

It's a shame Windows is about 25 years behind in terms of UI customisation and doesn't make these things easy to change for the user. :frowning: There are things like WindowBlinds, of course, but they bring their own trade-offs.

We might look into this, but unlike the other colour changes it's a lot more than making some colours configurable; we would have to replace or subvert the system's drawing code to change the way those elements look. Not impossible, but not trivial either.
